On November 5^th, the 6^th International Advisory Committee (IAC) of ASEAN University network health promotion network (AUN-HPN) that was operated by Mahidol University was held with hybrid style that includes face to face and online. The aim of the meeting is to collaborate and strengthen health promotion across the ASEAN region as well as Asia. Osaka University Hospital is participating in this meeting annually as an associate member, since 2018. We played a role in co-host this year. At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Genta Kawahara, PhD Executive Vice President of Global Engagement gave a live message. Then Prof. Eiichi Morii, MD, PhD, Dean, Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka University also gave a video message, respectively.

In the session of Updates on progress of AUN-HPN implementation in member universities, Dr. Nakatani, vice director of Center for Global Health, Department of Medical Innovation, Osaka University Hospital introduced our activity related to health promotion such as Society 5.0, study for non-communicable disease among ASEAN counties and Japan, and development of education tool for avoidance of infectious transmission. The meeting was successful and fruitful. We participated in this meeting online, because of consideration for current situation of COVID-19 pandemic worldwide. The meeting will be hopefully held face to face next year in Bangkok, if COVID-19 situation allowed.
