Osaka University Hospital received visitors from Asan Medical Center
On October 2nd, while the influence of typhoon 24th was very much concerned, a delegation from Asan Medical Center, Seoul Korea, led by Prof. Tae Won Kim, with 4 members visited to Osaka University Hospital, for the purpose of sharing an information how we and they manage Academia Research Organization and Translational Research Center in each institution.
Seven individuals from Osaka University Hospital were in attendance including Director, Medical Center for Translational Research Akira Myoui, Vice director, Center for Global Health, Daisaku Nakatani, Director, Data Coordinating Center, Tomomi Yamada, and more.
Following Prof. Kim’s presentation, we presented a wide variety of topics regarding our efforts of translational research, supporting global clinical research, and activity of data center. After the discussion, we took them a hospital building to look around Phase 1 clinical trial unite and the Cell Processing Facility (CPF) that are important facilities for implementing research and development. They listened intensely to explanations from Dr. Myoui.
We hope that their visiting could become the first step for affirming the importance of further collaboration with Asan Medical Center. Thank you very much for visiting us!
