(Conference Report) 8th Global Clinical Trial Advanced and Planning Symposium
On March 1, 2024, the 8th Global Clinical Trial Advanced and Planning Symposium was held online.
This symposium was jointly organized by Osaka University Hospital and National Cancer Center Hospital, and supported by Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED).
Building on the theme of last year's symposium, " Let's collaborate on international clinical research among Asian countries," the symposium was held under the theme of "Let's collaborate on international clinical research among Asian countries more closely" with the aim of further deepening collaboration.
Key opinion leaders from Japan and abroad were invited to speak about their efforts in international clinical research.
In the part 1 of the program, "Regulation implementing international clinical research,” regulatory information essential for collaboration was shared.
In the part 2, "Reports results of international clinical research from J-CCRC," project results were reported, and active discussions took place, providing useful feedback for future clinical research.
Furthermore, in the part 3, “Sharing international clinical research from Asian consortium," each consortium presented their efforts, which was very meaningful in deepening collaboration.
The symposium was a great success with many participants.
We would like to make efforts to prepare for the next Global Clinical Trial Advanced and Planning Symposium so that even more people will be interested and participate.
