On March 9, 2023, the 7th Global Clinical Trial Advanced and Planning Symposium was held online under the theme of “Let’s collaborate on international clinical research with Asian countries”.

This symposium was jointly organized by Osaka University Hospital and National Cancer Center Hospital, and supported by Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED).
In light of the growing importance of networks in Asia for the implementation of international clinical research, this symposium invited key opinion leaders (KOL’s) from Japan and abroad to speak about their efforts in international clinical research in Asia.

In part 1 of the symposium, entitled "Multinational clinical research by J-CCRC members,” in part 2, "Collaboration in multinational clinical research between Europe and Asia," and in part 3, “Nationwide infrastructure network," various information on clinical research was shared, which also led to strengthening networks for international collaboration.

The symposium was a great success with many participants.
We would like to make efforts to prepare for the next Global Clinical Trial Advanced and Planning Symposium so that even more people will be interested and participate.
