Dr. Sihoon Lee from Gachon University, School of Medicine, came to Osaka University Hospital on February 1st 2019. We first made each other's acquaintance at KoNECT International Conference 2018 in Seoul, and he kindly gave a few positive comments on Dr. NAKATANI’s talk entitled “Overseas Engagement of Clinical Research to Develop Academic Seeds: Efforts of Osaka University Hospital”.

We were supposed to spend about one hour, but since our conversation became lively, so we have decided to spend more time than that was initially planned. Consequently it took more than  2 hour fulfilling the meeting. We promised to have the next detailed meeting in Korea.

We hope and believe that his visit to us would be an important step in building a new network with overseas and we look forward to future collaboration.
