A delegation from Seoul National University Hospital and Chonbuk National University Hospital

On Friday, Sep 1st, 2017, a delegation from Seoul National University Hospital and Chonbuk National University Hospital from Korea visited us and held a meeting with; Dr. Akira Myoi, Director of Medical Center for Translational Research of Osaka University Hospital; Dr. Yoichi Yamamoto, Head of Academic Clinical Research Center; Dr. Daisaku Nakatani, Director of Global Clinical Research Support Office and other members of our staff.

Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH) is the oldest and central educational hospital in Korea. It is one of the six facilities which have been awarded accreditation from the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Program (AAHRPP) in Korea. There is a clinical trial center that owns 65 sickbeds for Phase 1, and clinical studies have been performed actively.
The center for clinical pharmacology of Chonbuk National University Hospital contains clinical trial research rooms (62 sickbeds), and convenient facilities for a subject to offer comfortable services. Many bioequivalence tests and phase 1 clinical trials have been performed.
In the meeting, we also made some presentations about the Medical Center for Translational Research, the Academic Clinical Research Center and the Data coordinating center, all accompanied with dynamic question-and-answer discussions.

After the meeting, the visitors toured our facilities at the Data Coordinating Center, the Department of Pharmacy and the Clinical Trial Unit. The meeting wrapped up with calls by Dr. Myoi for further collaboration through Multinational Clinical Trials.
